I'll be at this game. Wake is horrible this year, even worse than last year when we killed them. And we're better. I don't think it's likely we'll win by 30 again, but it should be a fun ass whooping.

Wake is a hard team to predict. Some games they look decent, other games they look horrendously awful. McKie is a good player and we have to keep him from going nuts on us ala Booker. Wake has no one to match up with CJL or Rich so we should dominate the paint. I predict another ugly close win for State.

that's odd. it's supposed to be State/Wake on FSN, and Canes are supposed to be on SportSouth, or 1520 in Raleigh

the weird thing is, yesterday it was showing they were playing the state game. They must have changed it overnight. Theres no 1520 but 520 is a psecial events channel thats also showing the canes game. I'm sure it'll all get figured out , just keep an eye on it

Wake isn't worse than last year. They're not better, but they're definitely not worse. They're a two man team, and they need both players to have A+ games to win. But McKie is a double-double machine that can get hot, and CJ Harris is probably the most underrated player in the league ... very Seth Curry-like. Their new PG is also going to be a good one.

That said, Howell, Warren, and Leslie should overwhelm their young guys in the post and Brown should handle their young PG. Wake isn't a good team defensively like Maryland and Clemson either. I think we ultimately win by 15, but it will be close for a while.

I think Clemson didn't get enough respect from us. They're not a good team but they don't completely suck.

Wake completely sucks. Even if McKie and Harris both go off, we should be able to put up enough points for it to be a non-issue.

All that having been said, I don't have enough confidence in the team right now to predict a blowout. I think winning by 10-15 sounds about right though.

most likely we don't blow them out, we're only 7.5 point favorites.

We're a really bad defensive team so it's doubtful that blow any teams out on the road this year.

We did hammer them last year though so there's a chance, but Wake is definitely a lot better this year.

3 straight nice home wins for Wake (Xavier, UVA, BC). Plus we haven't played well on the road. Maybe this could be closer than expected.

Seriously though, I think this will be closer than expected. Hoping for a double digit victory, but on the road, against a team that is playing better as of late... I'll just take a win of any variety. Will be interesting to see how the guys with such a quick turnaround.

we havent been upset by a crap team yet because warren shoots like 85% against scrub teams. he's struggled a bit against tough defensive squads
