Well I'm hooked. Fiance dropped off midway through season 1...and I just kept going. Finished up Season 5 this morning at work .

I always like it in shows when you begin liking/disliking certain characters and then end up doing a 180 on them at some point. I kinda liked Betty Draper at the beginning...now I can't stand her. Didn't like Joan in the beginning, now she's one of my favorite. I go back and forth with Pete and Don. Roger is fucking gold, Kenny's great...as is Peggy. Despite her horse grill, Meghan is smoking hot.

What an awesome show.

I'm reminiscing hard on some Mad Men tonight. My favorite line/scene from the whole series: "Peggy, listen to me. Get out of here and move forward. This never happened. It will shock you how much this never happened." I've decided I'm going to use that on myself for all of life's challenges, like when the seam on the Starbuck's cup makes the lid leak a little. I also have it memorized just in case I ever clip a bum with my car, and I need to give myself a little pep talk while I speed away from the scene.

After reading old threads, I see I also really loved Don telling the story with the guy who says: MAN WASN'T MEANT TO FLY!
