a corgi definitely doesn't fit the "no high energy dogs" requirement.

Wake Co. is super easy to adopt from without all the judginess of some of the private groups. Definitely glad we got our kitten there. One of the groups wouldn't adopt to us because I follow the AAHA vaccination guidelines but my vet claims a 10 year old indoor only cat needs yearly vaccines despite decades of research that say otherwise.

No idea about the dogs since I'm signed up to foster for a breed rescue and will eventually adopt from them.

^Whoa, what, yearly vaccines? Was unaware that anyone advocated that.

The AAHA guidelines came out when I was in high school and some vets still won't let go of the yearly money machine FVRCP (and then the exam, and fecal check, and.....). Thankfully Wake Co. didn't give us the hassle cat angels did. Dog rescue I signed up with was fine with it as well.
