This great show returns tonight for season 5. Hard to believe it's already season 5 after surviving a terrible NBC promotion and a move to TNT.

So sad Southland is over. Just caught up on the last two episodes last night (not sure why it took so long), Chaos and Retribution. I knew going in that I was watching the last two episodes, so some of the shock factor was missing for me. But I thought everything wrapped up very well.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, this is one of my favorite shows of all time. I can't believe there was any reason to end it - it had fantastic ratings from the critics, just didn't get the viewership i suppose.

for anyone that didn't watch it, I highly recommend it. Not sure if it's on Netflix

i was readin after it had gotten cancelled

it wasnt that the ratings were low; it was the fact that the show was so expensive to shoot

its so unfortunate, but I am glad they didnt cheap it up to save it
