A little known fact for the SAS daycare... It is based on seniority/rank. There is a waiting list, and if someone pulls rank, they jump your spot.

i mean, its up to SAS to properly interview and screen the guy. if he impresses them and they give him an offer, then more power to him.

"Tester" and "Data Analyst" are almost as generic of terms as "Doctor" or "Engineer". Get the the job posting number from your friend and look it up in the system.
