as someone who lived there for four years the place is clean, the landlord is never there, its in a good location, and I am pretty sure my old roommate would rather have someone from here put in there rather than a craiglist person so get this guy some replies. cheers.

I lived there back in '97-'98 when they were first built. I think there were only 3 buildings when we moved in.

I can't speak to the quality of them now, nor on the condition of this specific condo. But for me, just having your own bathroom is well worth it. Shit, for $310/month and no lease, this is a STEAL.

I lived there for several years. Typical college apartments and I was paying like $275 utilities included with no lease. Helped with saving up some money thats for sure!

Damn, I guess a lot of the people that bought them have them paid off already, so the price has gone way down. I was paying $375, and that was a discount because the owner's son (and one of the roommates) was one of my best friends. And that was before the pool was even built.

the price went down because students are going to wolf creek and shit where they get free tanning and a pool that is larger than a baby pool

For real though, if someone bought one of those condos back in 1997 they could easily have it paid off in less than 10 years. IIRC, they were selling for around $90k. Damn, I wish my Dad would have jumped on one of these back then. He was considering it, since he wasn't going to be paying my room/board in the dorms anymore. I'd be sitting on a nice little chunk of supplemental monthly income right now.

But then again, it might not be worth the headache of being a landlord. Especially of a property that caters primarily to college kids, that is almost definitely going to require way more maintenance/repair than your average condo in a non-college town.

you could have bought one for 65-75 at the bottom of the recession and just done paint and carpet to fix it up

Anyone that bought these when they were new and kept them full had these things paid off 5 years ago. Now just making whatever they can. I know one now is going for 100k

Helping out the above. The guy hasn't rented it to anyone yet. Good to just move in for the summer or do like I did ( i moved in may and moved out in December and had saved enough for a down payment on a condo). I can give anyone information on this as the empty room was my room.
