Posted this in the Chit-Chat Primer thread, but I really enjoyed it and had the same impulse to immediately watch it again. You can be confused as fuck, but intrigued and not have the technical jargon from his other movie added to the mix.

Anyone else see it?

Sorry, here's the trailer. I can't embed though.

Same, I missed a few things but nowhere near how much I missed with Primer.

I saw it in a theater and the audience was NOT into it.

Admittedly I found it pretty tedious during some bits in the middle but the ending completely saved it for me.

My buddy is a film buff and said he would have been disappointed if he saw it in the theatre, but thought it was quite good at home.

Do you think that audience knew what they were getting themselves into?

I'm not sure. I would assume anyone who sought out this movie would've at least seen the mindfuck Primer but I saw a lot of groups of people giving each other "Ugh" faces after the credits started rolling.

Pretty damn good if you know what you're getting yourself into.

good film, but guys like Malick and Thomas Anderson have beaten that genre to death. Beaten it to the point that I hate it.

I get it, lets cut out dialogue and just let the music and the visuals guide the audience. It just makes the movie drag out for too long though.
