I think the design of your questions and their possible answers needs work.

Most of the items are from previous scales used in disaster research and have a Chronbach's alpha of .90 or higher. Also I plan to run exploratory factor analyses on any novel items, confirmatory on non-novel sub-scales. Feel free to come to my dissertation defense to see more details

Your reply shows me that your to "in the weeds" on your project to see the flaws in this survey.

For example, your questions ask about planning for events you've grouped like hurricanes, tornadoes, extreme heat events, etc... The proper readiness plans for these events are different due to their differing scopes and impacts and your questions need to reflect that. Additionally, some of your response choices are nonsensical given the question.

If I was on your committee, this survey wouldn't fly.

Most of the results come from HOA's, face-to-face at community centers, etc. We're using tww as a supplement.

Tried it. Got to the third page.

Dude, get some grant money. I did loads of surveys in school, mostly for students and research groups. Buy some 5 dollar giftcards and trade them.

Also, being with a group that does disaster preparedness, if you gave this survey to us, as bad as its worded and phrased, if we were nice youd get it handed back right away.

Why is the gender field a text box instead of a selection?
