Hey all, my neighbor's dog, Lady Bird ran away last night while a friend was watching her. Keep your eyes peeled!

"My dog ran away yesterday in the Park street neighborhood in Downtown Raleigh. She still had her collar and leash on when she darted off- it's a gray leash and a peacock feather printed collar. She is about 40 pounds, lab/Shepard/Rottweiler mix, and pretty shy. She is black with brown paws and eyebrows, with a grayish brownish belly."

Register the lost dog with all the shelters and the pound in Raleigh. Also make a Craigslist post in the lost Dos section, that's actually how I fund my dog wen he ran off.

Second the craigslist post, that's how a dog we found was claimed.

^^ you can register lost dogs at the pound now? When my dog ran away back in 2003 the pound told me that I would just have to come bye periodically and see if he was there. They told me there was nothing they could do to notify me if someone brought him in.

I never found him

I am sorry to hear that she ran off. If she is chipped, your neighbor should make sure that her contact info is up to date. If a shelter or vet see her they will generally check there first.
