Wondering if anyone currently lives on Centennial and what it's like living there? I was thinking about it, but want to hear from those who already live there and see if it's worth the trek in and out of Centennial without a car.

The Greens is supposedly going up in the fall. Is anyone planning to live there or the North Shores?

I've been in North Shore for 9.5 years now and love it. I am about to move out as my wife and I are buying a 4,000 SF house in Cary, but we have thoroughly enjoyed living on Centennial.

It is convenient to everything - just off I-40, get to downtown quickly if you cut through Dorothy Dix, near I-440, etc.

I can't comment about not having a car, as I've always had one. From North Shore, Mission Valley is a 10-12 minute walk. From the greens, it is probably the same.

Campus is meticulously maintained. Snow is removed promptly, the grass is cut regularly, etc. I have a dog and have loved using the greenways and taking him to Lake Raleigh to swim.

If we weren't having a baby, I'd of stayed in this house another 10 years.

Regarding interest, it is red hot. I put my place up for lease on Craigslist and Zillow and had 4 showings in the first 48 hours, with 2 of them offering full price and immediate move in. I got $1,600/month for a 3 BR/3.5 BA house with hardwoods, solid surface counter tops and stainless steel appliances.

If you know of anyone else looking to rent one of the north shore homes, we'd love to look into it at least before making out decision on The Greens. I take the wolfline regularly and I'm sure I can manage it from centennial.

Is there a gym that is part of the town home community?
