Hey folks! I found a stray dog (pictured above) about six months ago. I've had a few people offer to take him, but each one has fallen through (and I haven't tried that hard because I love having him). Alas, I have to move, so I have to start trying harder to find him a permanent home.

His name is Champ, and he's currently about 40 pounds (he's relatively dense, so he's smaller than what I think of when I think of a 40 pound dog). He's neutered and up to date on his shots. He does very well with other dogs (I have other dogs and they play all the time), and loves meeting new people as well. He's still a puppy, so he's very, very energetic, but he also sleeps about half of the time.

If anybody has any questions, please let me know. I have to find a home for him in the next three or four weeks, so please feel free to share this with any friends who may be interested as well. Thanks!

Hey folks, the situation here is getting pretty dire. Both of our "sure thing" friends who said they would take him have fallen through, and I'm trying to do everything I can to find this guy a home. I have to move in two weeks. If anybody is interested or knows somebody else who might be, PLEASE let me know. Thanks.

I have two other dogs. I'm moving to San Francisco for work, and virtually no apartments allow so-called "aggressive breeds". I'm having a hard time finding an apartment that will allow two dogs as it is.

Believe me, I would keep him if it were at all possible, but it isn't. I found him starving, dehydrated, and on the verge of death six months ago and saved him, thinking I could find him a good home. The three people who said they could definitely take him have all fallen through, and I haven't got any time left.

Is he house trained? Do you keep him crated while you're gone or roam the house free? Does he chew up all your shit? Where does he sleep?

What type of dog is he? Pitbull mut?

He is house trained, and stays in a crate when we're out of the house. He sleeps in the crate or in the bed, depending on whether I have to get up early and how hard my wife begs to let him sleep with us. He will fuck up unattended socks, but leaves shoes, XBox controllers, and other assorted things that find themselves on the floor alone.

He's definitely a mutt. Some mix of pit bull breeds (Staffordshire Terrier, mainly), French bulldog, and boxer.
