I don't need a whole roll - just a piece for a project I'm working on. What do you have, TWW?

I might have some. What size do you need? Would aluminum flashing work?

I reckon it needs to be at least 10" wide and maybe 10 feet long

I'm using it to make a riser for my grill - I understand that it is generally not advisable to use anything galvanized for cooking

I think I should be able to remove the zinc by putting it in a muriatic acid bath - is this correct?
after that I'll paint the whole thing with high temp grill primer

since the temperatures will be pretty high I don't think I should use aluminum

maybe aluminum would work if it was thick enough

it needs to get hot and not buckle under the weight of some fire brick and a grill lid
