What are your thoughts on the NCSU computer programming certificate?

I figure I should probably add programming to my list of skills.

you can get a CSC Masters Degree from Georgia Tech online for significantly less

however, I don't have a CSC undergrad degree which is why I was looking at the programming cert.

We already have too many programmers that don't actually understand how a computer works. Please stop making more so I don't have to keep fixing their shit.

In my grad group there were actually several people who had other undergrads so depending on what you want to do it might not even be that big a deal. Obviously if you want to do networking or OS design then yeah you might be screwed but for more conceptual stuff you could get by.

ncsu's csc cert is the exact equivalent of a csc minor.
