I'm not a fan of cops doing blatantly illegal things on the road. In new York they just turn their lights on and then drive through red lights.

I don't know if he was passing other cars or just distracted by the laptop, but it's abundantly clear that no part of that accident happened in the other lane. I don't know if the cop tried to back up or just splattered oil and blood that far.

I think mopeds should be taken off the street. Not saying the drivers were wrong at all here but they make roads more dangerous.

it's also perfectly legal for a woman to walk by herself through questionable areas of the city at 3am, but it's probably not a good idea.

I was in a line of cars yesterday, 5oclock traffic, from 540 up 401 for like 3 miles because of a SHITHEAD on a moped going 15 under the speedlimit....

If I was driving a moped, I'd probably rather do it at 3am when no cars were on the road. I'd be scared to drive a moped during rush hour traffic.

my moped could go 70 mph easy (top speed 80mph) and people frequently asked me if I had a DUI or something, NO.... Im just poor.

I saw a cop three years ago use his turn signal before turning in the direction he was indicating.
Not even a month ago I saw another one come to a complete stop at a stop sign.

Legal top speed for a moped is 30mph unless registered as a motorcycle.

^^I agree. That's why the lengthy tire marks are confusing to me. When you're thoroughly established in the wrong lane, and an oncoming car is approaching, the instinct should be to get out of the lane, not slam on brakes. He didn't swerve or anything. It's weird.
