I have a friend who wanted me to post that he is looking for a 17-22 foot center console boat that someone might need to get rid of due to lack of use, finances, etc. Willing to pay 2k-4k. Please let me know.

Looks like a couple options in this area. Might have more luck in the Wilmington CL.

That would be a sweet boat if you can get it fixed for cheap. Might be as simple as cleaning the jets on the carb. It will fly with that Johnson 88. Those motors are closer to 100HP at the prop from what I've heard and it's a really solid design.6/25/2013 2:59:37 PM |

I was thinking 45 trimmed out and with the right prop. Either way...40+/- is scooting in a boat like that.

i've got a 115 yamaha on my 17' key west and i can only get about 37 or 38 with a half tank of fuel, 3 batteries, and a trolling motor. i'd probably benefit from a jack plate.
but, yeah, 40 is plenty.
