^ This. If it doesn't have air brakes you're probably ok with a standard drivers license. That was the distinction on the box trucks I used to drive at least.

i don't think air brakes has anything to do with it. you're not likely to need a commercial driver's license for any non-commercial vehicle. NC requires a class A or B non-commericial if the GVWR is over 26k. 7/10/2013 3:30:13 PM |

It's pretty expensive. I've been trying to do it for the August time frame and can't find anything less than $129/day with crazy mileage restriction. Smaller RV dealers seem to have a few better deals on craigslist. 7/10/2013 6:25:24 PM |
