Where should we go for 10 days? Only requirement at this point is that the weather is tolerable - fine with hot/cold just not monsoon season, sharknadoes, etc.

south africa. perfect time to go cage diving. I went in march and everything was perfect.

^^ meh, just got back from a 10 day trip to peru and wouldn't do it again. Machu Picchu was pretty amazing but wasn't too fond on the rest of the country, especially if you are getting around on a budget, took some of the sketchiest bus/van rides of my life. The altitude wrecked me so that probably didn't help either.

For the op, not sure if it is the rainy season or not because I went in November but Belize was one of my favorite places I have ever been.

Most of central America's wet seasons begin in April or may (I think) depending on which coast you are on, etc. so you should be good for any of those suggestions.

Patagonia is lovely at that time of year, tourist facilities still running and it's the shoulder season. Torres del Paine ftmfw
