I use Grooveshark via Chrome to listen to music everyday. Clearly it's not the same as listening to MP3s using Media Player/Winamp. It'd be nice to have a graphic equalizer built into my browser so I can play around with it to improve my listening experience. Does anyone here have any solutions?

That is because I'm using a Creative X-Fi DAC. It plugs in my USB and I plug my speakers into it.

^ GS has a great collection of music, and some of their broadcasts are great. The X-Fi does a decent job of enhancing the sound, way better than my onboard laptop sound card. Also, what else would you use for listening to music besides speakers? headphones?

^^ I need it at a browser level since I cannot play with any OS level EQ settings once I connect my DAC.

That plus their graphical equalizer add-on might do what you want.

There's an app for Mac OS called Audio Hijack that definitely does what you want, and I found this app by looking for windows apps similar to that.
