Seems expensive to me, plus the low mileage makes me think it was wrecked and parked at some point. I went to go look at it today and the fender flares are all obviously new, and look like they were painted with some weird red textured paint. Interior has some tears (no big deal) but whatever vinyl stuff they did the floorboard in is very wrinkly (again no big deal, but weird).
I know I can talk them down considerably or offer some crappy trade, but still id like some advice.
Also interested in old Jeeps and Broncos. What else should I look at? I have a lot of house-related projects in the next year that would be made easier with a truck. I also keep hearing this winter is going to be bad, so id like to be prepared.
I think the truck I listed at the top would be a fun project. I would have preferred it wasnt an automatic, but if I wanted to build up the 454 and carb it (no computer at all), would that transmission pitch a fit? Can you get a standalone module that controls shifts? What else would I need to be aware of in such a project? It wouldnt be registered in a tail pipe sniffer county anyway. 9/20/2013 6:23:21 PM |

Yeah I was about to comment on the m series.
Y block is worse but has a certain cool factor as one of the first ohv engines but m has no excuse for its shittiness 9/22/2013 6:19:18 AM |

How cute.
Throwing his typical tantrum when someone proves him wrong, and following them to their every thread.
Keep up the good work; you have several more to go. 9/24/2013 10:50:04 AM |
