Welcome to this year’s Secret Santa! This year we have a few new rules so please pay attention and remember if you have any questions, feel free to post them here or PM MinkaGrl01.

All gifts must be postmarked or in the mail by December 14th. Please make sure you follow this guideline so that everyone may be able to have their gift by Christmas Day. If something comes up and you aren’t able to get your gift out in time, please let me know.

Since this is a SECRET Santa, some givers may want to stay anonymous. Please feel free to post your gift(s) in the thread and thank the giver but don’t be disappointed if you never find out who your Santa was.

This year we are restricting our Secret Santas to those users who have been a part of our community for at least one year. If you are using an alias, we will have a mod confirm your authenticity.

In addition to our Secret Santa, we are also having a fundraiser to spread our holiday cheer. This is a completely optional giving opportunity and you don’t have to participate in the fundraiser into order to be a Secret Santa and vice versa (you don’t have to be a Secret Santa to give to our fundraiser) This is just for fun and to bring happiness to others.

Our charity is Child’s Play, a 501(c)(3) not for profit dedicated to improving the lives of hospitalized children with toys and games in their network of over 70 hospitals worldwide. The nearest hospital they serve is NC Childrens Hospital in Chapel Hill, where we’ll be directing our fundraising to.




You can join the Secret Santa any day up until November 30th. After which, I will PM individuals with their paired person in time for Cyber Monday (December 2). If you’d like to be paired up twice, please submit the form twice. If you have any interests that you’d like your Santa to know about or if you have any specific issues you need me to know about please include that in the notes section of the form. Our spending guidelines are about $30, if you feel like spending more then that’s up to your discretion.

So reading through the 2012 thread it seemed that Amazon spoiled a lot of the SS reveals. Did anyone find a way to keep it anonymous when ordering/shipping via Amazon?
