So far I'm loving this game.

My one complaint is the money grab strategy of releasing a "DLC" on release date. If it was ready to go in a DLC on day one it should have been on the disk.

I don't even remember seeing any DLC, you don't have to buy it if you don't want to.

the feedback in the triggers makes it possible to feel when your tires are breaking traction, its awesome. Forza 4 without a wheel was tough to drive a clean line, its actually possible with this controller.

Welcome to Xbox, your wheel will not work. The controller is so good you don't really need one.

I love the detail they put into the interior of the cars.

^i owned the regular xbox and the 360 before. Made the switch to the ps3 in 09. Coming back to the Xbox One because I believe my wife can get more use out of it than the ps4. I owned Forza 2 or 3, can't remember. Really enjoyed it then.

dtownral I will say that I will not be buying forza again unless they tone down the microtransaction bullshit. There is a car in this game that cost 6million xp, $60 worth of tokens to get. Honestly I'm approaching boredom after 1 championship series because

A. I will buy into microtransactions,
B. The game is setup to steer you towards microtransactions
C. More tracks please.

I can assure you there aren't many people playing this game.

The idea that they think its a good idea to have the real exotic cars P1 etc as hard to attain in the game because they are exclusive in real life is complete bullshit. I play a game like forza because its as close as I will ever come to driving a car anywhere near as expensive as the P1. I don't understand what game developers are thinking these days, its 1 dumbass decision followed by another with every game that comes out.

YAY so now instead of saving 6 million I have to save 3 million. I'm more annoyed by the concept. Theres a right and a wrong way to do micro transactions, this is WRONG. They overhauled them how? is it going back to a forza 4 system of getting cars for winning championships? Can I now go into single player and drive any car in the game? Is there drag racing online?

I'm sure a track pack is coming as DLC. $50 season pass thats only good for 6 months, and just gives you the priveledge of being able to buy tokens to buy the cars you paid for in dlc. Broken system.

From this it doesn't seem like they are actually doing the right thing. Essentially what happened is they realized it was bad PR and are now lowering the price you have to pay to unlock your on disc content. Real Awesome, I have a ps4 fanboy friend that warned me about microsoft/microtransactions.

If that's what you care about, go to free play and do a 20 or 50 lap race on Indy oval. With driver aids on you don't even have to watch. A 20 lap race will give you 2 level ups at 30k each and another 40k or something for the race. A couple 50 lap races will get you what you want.

I just got cheated so bad online. I was whupping up on a R class field at lemans with my holden gts. I'm atleast 10 seconds ahead and entering last turn it switches me to 2nd and some fag gets the win? Any idea how this cheat is done?

Now that I finally got a working xbone, I'm loving this game.

And I heard they adjusted the car prices or something because I don't think any of them are totally outrageous.

Also I don't plan on buying any DLC. The cars included are good for me.

finally got around to playing this after borrowing it from a buddy. Not all that impressed honestly. The braking is horrible. If I put any amount of pressure on the left trigger other than the slightest of slight, the tires lock up and there I go. I've gotten it down for the most part, but theres very little consistency. Also, the other cars don't drive like what I would expect other cars to drive like. Braking in the middle of a straightaway for no reason? Gimme a break...

It is an absolutely beautiful game however. They really did well with the car models and the track scenery.

Play online, only retards play against the computer.

Here's what happens in a computer race. Theres 2-3 super fast computer cars, theres 3-6 average (easily beat) cars, and the rest are wreckers that panic brake on straights, don't brake for turns, slam you off the road etc.

Anyways, I've already given it back to my friend. Games just not good. But any racing game you don't use a steering wheel on isn't gonna be good anyways. I've just been spoiled with my computer racing games and wheels.
