I enjoyed the remake. Of course it was hard to not compare it to the original movie I grew up watching.
I was excited to see it, I even stayed up late watching it.

I don't think it was bad, or even just ok. I thought it was good. But not on the same quality as Julie Andrews.

I didn't like that some songs were left out, and I didn't like that they sang some songs at the wrong time. I did understand that doing a live performance for television, where you have to have it within a certain amount of time, you have the cut things and put things in different spots.

Carrie Underwood was able to sing the songs well. Her acting was on par with a very good community theatre performance.
