Yeah, while it is winnable, I'm expecting to beat ECU and UNCG but lose this game and Mizzou. I would actually be very happy finishing out the non-conference season 3-1, but I think we may match up even worse against Tennessee than Mizzou based on the (admittedly limited) amount I've seen. Tennessee has a couple 6'8" scorers/rebounders that can probably exploit Vandy and our young bigs like that guy from Long Beach State.

Road game with a young team never goes well for State. A win here would be a big confidence boost to our team as we've yet to beat a "good" team.

Really really really need to at least split UT and Mizzou to have NCAAT chance.

Stokes/Maymon are going to dominate our bigs. Anya needs to step it up.

Probably come down to FTs which we still suck at. Freeman is 4-20 on the year. Jesus Christ.

I full expect a loss here.

The only thing I want to see this season is consistent improvement. NIT would be good this year with an older team looking to make the dance in 2015. If Vandy wants to go out with a bang and single-handedly win us the ACC Tournament to get us in the NCAAs, I'm ok with that.

the central loss doesnt mean shit. the fact that we played long beach and app state and both have 0 D1 wins is what is killing our rpi at the moment

honestly, we just need 1 of tenn/mizzou because the committee isnt going to give a shit about these games at the end of the year

theyre going to look at our rpi, our conference record and 1 other arbitrary measure they decide on the week theyre down there

we need to go 9-9 in conference and i dont see that happening but if we do this game isnt going to matter. losing to tennessee is probably better for our rpi than playing and beating app state again would be
