Interesting that they've already shortened this season. I was worried it was ratings but apparently the ratings are strong but the actress who plays Liv is preggers, hopefully won't hurt the show any.

Still think the first season was by far the best, but this season has been better than the 2nd.

I was with a girl last night who changed it to this show for a few minutes. It was a scene where two women were in a park screaming at each other about whose fault it was that some guy was killed. It seemed ridiculous. My opinion.

Yes it is a soap opera about the president and his mistress. That's why women love it. Everything else in the story is just extra, over the top.

My wife and I started watching because we're fans of Josh Malina, just over halfway through the second season now. Neither of us particularly cares for Olivia and we hate the President (both the character and how the actor portrays him), but we continue watching mostly for Huck and Cyrus...and of course Josh Malina.

This is when I decided I kind of like this show enough to keep going:

Just finished season 6. I actually enjoyed the story line, the shorter season made it possible to drive up the intensity without having to kill screen time, and I liked getting the vantage point from one character at a time. But then the finale was a total shit storm filled with plot-hole cop outs.

Luna and Cyrus were both guilty of the same crime, but one gets to be VP and the other gets to die? And how the hell did Luna afford to pay the crew that was controlling Rowan? They put $300 million into Abbie's account, had the drone bombers up in the air in no time, and Samantha and Peus were willing to put their lives on the line for this? And wasn't Peus supposed to become VP if Olivia hadn't pulled the stunt? And Cyrus loved Franky so much he was about to kill Rowan for pulling the trigger...plus he had to navigate things with Tom and he almost was murdered by the other prisoners.

Thought the final season was ok, little slow at times but definitely ramped up late. Was an interesting end to the show.

If you've watched all but the final season, I'd definitely recommend just finishing it and seeing how everything plays out.
