It's kind of like a twisted back to the future (lots of homages to bttf and other sci fi).

Rick character's way of speaking alone cracks me up. I was almost rolling on the floor at the beginning of the dog episode when he was ribbing the dad about how difficult it would be to make the dog smarter.

This weeks ending was dark, and brought up a lot of questions. If we call the reality they cronenberged reality A, is that reality As original Rick? I don't think it is, which would explain him suddenly coming back into his daughter and her families life. Morty is just getting more and more damaged, the jellybean rape last week and burying his alternate reality self this week to assume his life.

But I love it

I knew I was going to like this show from the opening credits when Rick jumps into a portal and leaves Morty to be devoured by the green monsters.

Last night's episode was pretty funny (the Purge). Much better than last weeks. Next week is the season finale already! Too bad.
