Parenthood is always good for a quick tear
(disclaimer... when I watch a TV show, I allow myself to become fully absorbed into the universe... i don't know if it makes me a vag, but I enjoy allowing my emotions to become intertwined temporarily with the characters...) 3/29/2014 11:49:49 PM |

Futurama (obvious) HIMYM (Marshall's dad) Scrubs

I'll also admit that Star Trek has occasionally solicited a tear or two... maybe it's because i choose to delve into the series more than the typical casual viewer? 3/30/2014 12:03:28 AM |

There was an episode of Lost called "The Constant" where Desmond reunites with his girl at the end over radio. Gotta go with that one. 3/30/2014 7:14:43 AM |

Parenthood, every other episode through the first few seasons or so. Lately, not so much, unless Julia and Joel get back together.
The pilot of Friday Night Lights when Saracen hits the game-winning touchdown. I've watched that episode several times over the years and it always gets me. 3/30/2014 8:02:01 AM |

^^oh yeah, several parts of that movie are definitely tear-jerkable (although that should go in the "movies that make you cry" thread)
What's the Scrubs episode that has Colin Hay singing "Overkill"?
