I recently was given a 1999 S10. I noticed that the door sag a bit, and I was starting to look to buy some new hinge pins for the truck. My father-in-law(previous owner) stated he already replaced the hinge pins and that the holes have gotten too big they're not as tight. I was wondering if there was some insert or device I could buy to help remedy this problem.

An episode of "Trucks" on Horsepower TV has shown an insert to fix that problem. Don't know more than that. 4/11/2014 3:03:45 PM |

there are bushings in the brackets that the hinge pins go through. you can buy replacements in the section of the parts store with those "HELP!" parts.

to clarify, these bushings are there from the factory. you just need to replace them. 4/11/2014 7:55:25 PM |
