Looking for a place to fish with the wifey in the Triangle area and even more towards Johnston county. Very respectful of land and leave nothing behind. Can catch and release or keep certain species at your request. Anyone have a pond they would let me fish at? Or does anyone know of any pay to fish private ponds within an hour drive any direction of NCSU?

you can fish at my grandpa's pond at the corner of Trinity Road and Youth Center Drive

go to Windlake Ct. off Penny Rd. my Dad used to live there but has since moved, but if you ask any of the neighbors on the pond if it's alright to fish there, you should be fine. It's not even fair to the fish - we stocked it 20 years ago and you'll have bass/carp/catfish on your line within 3 minutes with just bread on the hook.
