Everyone's favorite teams have their dumb moments.

I remember being at Herb Sendek Basketball Camp in 1997(?) and hearing now Dayton Head Coach Archie Miller call a 12 year old a "motherfucker".

Sean Miller taught ballhandling and when someone screwed up, he would tell us to only give them one clap.

As far as on field/court moments, who can forget the STD chant?

Speaking of the Shackleford quote, I mentioned that one time in an English class I was teaching in Kinston, and a kid chimed in with, "That's my uncle!" (Or neighbor or family friend or whatever.)

I had forgotten he was a Kinstonian.
