I know this may be a long shot here but just in case anyone is interested......

I have a new in the box Davis Wireless Vantage Pro2 for sale. The box has been opened but never installed outside. I have included the product link on the Davis website below.

Asking $350 for it.

Actually, I've been wanting one, I just don't really know where I could mount if for reasonable readings.

Does "mounting hardware" include any poles/tripods?

Lemme consult my resident weather nerd.

It does not come with a mounting pole or tripod.

I have one installed up in the mountains in Banner Elk and the rain collector I have attached to the side of the deck on one of the support posts and the anemometer I installed on top of the roof with u-bolts around an exhaust pipe.

This is a GREAT weather station. It's what I am currently using to conduct my research up here at Appalachian. You can either mount it onto a wooden post or just buy your own pole.

I would recommend also investing in the USB data logger so that you can upload the data to a PC. If I had an extra $350, I would snatch this up for myself.
