It was only a matter of time, and even more people will have drones. This could enable strikes in ways that terrorists couldn't do before. Drones are mostly software, and anyone with a computer and internet connection can figure out some software. As far as military tech goes, the barrier for entry is low.
Not a surprising development but interesting nonetheless. It'll be interesting to see how we respond, if more "enemies" start using drones vs. suicide bombers/whatever. 7/16/2014 12:26:35 AM |

Give it 25 or 30 years, and wars will be fought without men/women on the frontlines. I don't know why but that seems really scary to me. Just makes me think of the Terminator movies. At that point though it becomes a war of economies, and who can produce the most stuff. 7/16/2014 7:17:38 AM |
