What groups take broken phones? It is my understanding that groups generally accept only "gently used" devices.

I get not putting money into something you'd just assume throw out, but I'd rather spend $20 to make ($80-$20 = $60) than get nothing

throw a stock photo on craigslist and if somebody offers you like $75, fix the glass

take to phone store. place in receptacle for donated phones. let someone like me come into store and snatch up said phones.
