I remember the Andrew Brown game and that was a good one. I was referring to the last time we beat FSU at home when it wasn't at night. It just seemed like every time we play them at night in Raleigh we win. Every time during the day we lose.

I was wrong though. It was not as far back as I thought.

Remember when Gameday actually came here in 2004?

The cheerleaders insisted on standing directly behind the desk the entire time and blocking the view of every sign and all the fans. They also continually just shouted in that weird cheerleading projection voice. They'd go to commercial and get down, then the light would come on again and they'd get back in front of everyone. It's all you could see on TV.

I wouldn't be surprised if they got annoyed with us and decided to never come back.

i'm looking forward to this game only because FSU has looked exposed in their first 3 games, and we've been on a nice little high scoring run. paired with the fact it's a home game i think we have a good chance at losing by less than 3 td's.

I think State pulls this off again in Raleigh. Florida State looked like they digressed a lot, last year they could of put up 100 points on State in Tallahassee if they didn't pull their first team out, this year their offense looks much more conservative which is what our porous defense needs. Our offense needs to rely on the arm of Brisset from the start to click into rhythm, and our defense needs to limit explosive plays and put pressure on Winston. If you can apply pressure on any QB then they're going to make mistakes.

Don't get me wrong...I don't expect us to win or anything. But I wouldn't be surprised at all to see us hang around for a half, maybe even 3 quarters. We tend to play much better at home. Our offense is actually capable of moving the ball this year. This is their first road test. Our players and team are obviously much more confident right now than they would've been when we played FSU last year.

But holy shit it'd be great if we won.

Also saw where this is the first time we've ever hosted a #1.
