So I am attending a wedding this weekend of a friend of mine that I play softball with. This will be the second marriage for both the bride and groom. One is early 40's and the other mid-late 30's. They have a nice house, a couple older children, and do not have any sort of registry or real "need" for typical wedding gifts. That being said, should I still bring a gift of some sort? I was thinking perhaps a gift card to a nice restaurant in lieu of cash or something like that. Thoughts? 10/8/2014 10:09:13 AM |

Do they have a registry? Just get something middle-of-the-road from the list. 10/8/2014 10:33:57 AM |

Somehow missed that.
Gift card to a favorite restaurant is fine. I honestly feel like people on their second marriages shouldn't expect wedding gifts. They can combine the "halves" of what they got from their first wedding. 10/8/2014 12:01:34 PM |
