Any suggestions for a lightweight, windows 7 machine that I can still buy for my parents? Prefer SSD but not a necessity.

Touch screen is cool, but not necessary.

Must be wicked reliable as I dont want them calling me all the damn time to troubleshoot.

I see this Lenovo Z50 for $550 after coupon code...and could purchase win7 separately if I absolutely HAD to.

Any other hot deals that fit the bill, or ideas?

I saw a nice Dell Inspiron 15.6" at Costco the other day for about $600. 8 gigs of RAM, 1 TB drive, Win 7.

wow, that may seriously be what I do now. Let me compare the specs vs the asus n550 but at first glance that appears to check all my boxes for almost half the price. And I've only ever owned Lenovos and been very happy. 3 personal laptops and 3 work laptops between my wife and I over the past 10 years or so.

Don't love the processor but I don't know that I would notice honestly. I thought they offered that thing with an i7 but I guess that isn't available with this promo.

Parents?

Windows 7?

Touch screen?

Those three things are not very compatible with each other, in my experience
