I'm kinda lazy and kinda outta the loop on the computer stuff.. both of my 8800gt's crapped out at the same time last year so I got a gtx640 to hold me over.. would the 640 and 460 work to support my 3 monitors? I don't really game much anymore just have the multi monitor setup still

Depends on if you are doing SLI or not.

SLI:no. Cant do different chips. That said, even different memory amts and/or manufacturers can have issues. Everyone I know that uses SLI uses matched cards.

Now if you want independent graphics cards, yes could do this. Results vary though.

Your best bet is to put it on eBay. No way you are going to get $150 for it. I only paid $175 for my GTX 960 SSC. The 460s have been selling for $20-60 on eBay depending on the version.
