Hey guys and girls, my name is Brandon.
Are any other current NCSU students big into playing CS? I used to play religiously back in high school, in the 1.6/Condition Zero/Source days. I was on a few unsuccessful 1.6 CAL-O teams, and one fairly successful CAL-M Condition Zero team back in 2007. I finally have a good computer and I have started playing CS:GO.
I'm 26 years old and finishing up a second degree here in Raleigh. I'll be a student at NC State through Fall of 2015.

I'm looking for a friendly group of medium-higher skilled players to queue with for Matchmaking and ESEA Pug, and I thought it would be way cool to make a quasi-team of NCSU students. I did a quick group search on Steam and found one large gaming group of NC State students, but it was not specifically for Counter-Strike. I would love to create a community of exclusive NC State CS players that can get to know each other and play matches.
I will get said group started, and at first it will be invite only. I'll post the link below. If you have any interest in getting this community started, you can message me here, or leave a comment on my steam profile including:

My brother-in-law just finished buying me CS:Go and I have been playing for a few weeks now. Played quite a bit of source back in the day, but alas I'm not interested in playing competitively or on a team. Don't have the regular time available.

I used to play 1.6 back in 2006 on the NCSU server. Shit was fun.

Most older players (05-12) are on this group. Lot of us still play from time to time, both CS:GO and older CS and CS:S

I think the 06' server couple of you played on I helped host one of them (was a group of 3).
