Along the lines of Galactic Civ or Sins of a Solar Empire.

Being from the likes of Civ, I havn't played the latest Beyond Earth, but they say its suppose to "link" to it both in gameplay and story.

I have hope for it, but slightly afraid since they are saying "early 2015" yet its just now being announced. Most other Civ games have been hyped months if not years in advance.

Beyond Earth was pretty good, and will get to really good once some xpacs come out for it. Psyched Starships is supposed to connect into it somehow.

Theres a jumpbutton about a minute in, to about 30 mins in, which shows the real gameplay.

Seems a lot like Endless Space, but def traditional spacebased turn strategy.

Look at 38:30, really like how they show almost a first-person interface to present info, besides the zoomed out play-view.

battles are awesome. Theyve all sorts of never really combined things, like using objects to defend from, but still being grid (hex) based Civ battle/move style.

Was not expecting it to be 12 bucks

Very scaled back on possible features they could have done, but it was done completely. I dont like how easy it is to kill an opponents empire (just win their homeworld). I lost a whole game I was winning as 1 AI took over another AI's homeworld.
