We have a good shot, we beat Louisville on the road and if this team come to win I think we come away with the W. UNx is the more consistent team, and don't have as many bad loses as us, but in terms against good competition in the ACC we're pretty much even.

Both loss to Notre Dame & Virginia
We beat Duke (TBD later this evening w/ UNx)
UNx split w/ Louisville, and won with clutch performance by Paige. We beat Lousiville in Yum center decisively.

Vegas will probably have UNC as 5 point favorites but think we win if our big men play a solid game.

Just going to throw this out there while it's still a possibility. If the Pack wins out (including the UNC game), and UNC drops the two games to Duke, we'll end up as the 5 seed.

Both would have 10-7 records
Split season series
Both lost to the UVA, ND.
Pack beat Duke, and in this scenario UNC would have lost twice to Duke.

Not that I'm saying I think this will happen, just wanted to point it out, so save your pessimistic comments for another day.

You guys have watched this team all season just like I have.

We come out flat against a team we have no respect for. We fuck around to a 20 point deficit early in the first half.

Around half time Gott throws some tables and gets their heads in the game. We play a solid second half but ultimately can't close the gap.

How can I be upset about people repeatedly calling me out when it was the first time I used the term genius? Its a NC State sports forum, and on here we poke fun at UNC all the time using unoriginal terms like tarholes, UNCheat, and the list goes on. No offense but NC State Shit is stupid too. Sure, we've had a lot of bad luck along the way, but every decent to mediocre team has their share of bad luck, and if you were a fan of them, you'd probably think they were cursed. It's just a little worse for us given our past success in basketball.

Wow this thread is seriously derailed, but since we are already off track, how does two potential HOF QBs being NC State alums equal NC State shit? Rivers merely got stuck playing for a bad organization in the same conference as two top-5 all time QBs in Manning and Brady. Only Roflsberger and the Ravens got over that Brady/Manning hump and only with due to amazing defenses.

Wilson already has one ring and if he can add another in the next decade/stay healthy, then he has a shot at the HOF. Yes it is years off, but he's off to a great start.

I actually saw a story on the news or UNC tv or something one time about how North Carolinians pronounced it Raw Lee but with the influx of non natives the accent died out over time. Maybe this came from a long time ago and UNC fans can't think of anything better.
