skimming thru the posts on here, it looks like an old people/alumni page. Campus looks pretty quite as well. Not much of the energy this place had when I was a student here.

That's because everyone under the age of 30 is fucking lame. The generation born in the late 70s to early 80s is the last one that grew up without the internet, without bike helmets, without play dates, and without everyone being diagnosed with ADHD.

We're probably one of the first generations that can legitimately look at the kids of today and instead of being shocked at their outrageous behavior (as has usually been the case since time immemorial) we'll be shocked at what a bunch of lame ass pussies they are.

You can't use this website as a basis to think 'young people suck' or whatever.

There's a lot of stuff going on - the trimming of Internet anonymity, the mods on here trying to make this site 'serious' - that's the big one. There's no personality on this board anymore because the mods are pretty bad when it comes to tolerating bullshit/fun/etc.

Also, these young kids don't give a shit about our dumb ass messageboard anyway. It's just not how people communicate anymore.

Less a commentary on why this message board has died and more a commentary on generational differences.

This message board has been in a death spiral for at least 4-5 years. Young people today really do suck though. Their music is shitty, they don't take risks, they don't work very hard, and my god are they mentally and emotionally fragile. I would absolutely hate to be in college today, I'd be expelled for "triggering" speech within a week if I took any kind of poli sci, philosophy, or sociology class.
