^ & ^^ It's better than a freshman probably but still as much of a turnover machine as he is and how inexperienced FSU's O-Line is I'd not be concerned about them being world beaters. There will be plenty of athleticism there and you'll have to worry about scrambling but its not going to lock up the atlantic alone.

Clemson's starting left tackle (a senior) is leaving for the supplemental draft because he's having a kid, so apparently they're planning on starting a true freshman in his place. Definitely some question marks with the Tigers this year.

Oh, and also their starting kicker got suspended after being caught with cocaine and supposedly their backups are walk-ons.

I caught the end of some preview show on CBS today and they mentioned that for the first time in 60 years there will be no Big Ten teams on the Notre Dame schedule. That's a shame, they've had a pretty good rivalry with Michigan for years.

i'm kinda "meh" on the whole ND/B1G scheduling thing. yeah, they've played michigan 36 total times dating back to 1899. but at the same time, you can't even count backwards to the 1990's without going a couple years where they didn't play.

when ND and GT meet this year, they will have played as many times as ND and Michigan have.

I'm torn. I want UNC to fail in everything they do, but wouldn't mind seeing an ACC team get a win over a SEC team. Would be bad for USC to end up a lower-end SEC team and have them beat a potential Coastal winner in UNC.

This is a huger difference between the ACC different than the SEC. SEC teams will pull for others (direct rivals excluded) and have this conference pride. I've never understood that, I want almost every other team in the ACC to lose every game they play.

^I think that's how most ACC fans are as well. I'll be cheering for VT to beat Ohio State. I always pull for the ACC to win except when it's Carolina. I think several others here feel the same.

Its pretty much only the notoriously crazy state fans that do this. Im pretty sure some carolina fams do this as well but it makes no sense in football.

The general rule is never pull against a team if their win will help your team. You have to be an awful miserable fam to sabotage your teams chances just to see other fanbases suffer. That means always cheering for unc against atlantic or non conference opponents.

Basketball is different because theres so many games and i think that mentality somehow carries over into football in this area.
