The Fountain

It has also has one of my favorite teaser trailers ever: https://youtu.be/yF-IjO9w3zM

^Kung Pow was the only movie I ever walked out of. And that's pretty bad considering I was like 15. Maybe I was too young to appreciate it, but I suspect it was actually just shit.

I made a similar thread about this a while ago... but I'll Play.

Some of my favorite movies that got panned by critics are Constantine, Due Date, and Mortal Kombat.

Caddyshack: It got terrible reviews when it was released in the theaters, but through the years it has become a classic.

I hadn't either but it's on Netflix. I loved it and then looked it up and was surprised to see how scathing the reviews were.

Beerfest, Super Troopers, Old School are other ones. Rotten Tomatoes just seems to hate college-y comedies.

Agreed! It isn't the greatest movie ever, but it was good enough that I enjoyed watching it.

Also, I thought Transformers 4 was good.

is Joe Dirt rated bad? it's a comedy that's low brow at times but it was actually a pretty good film

Old School sure, Beerfest no.

The Big Lebowski didn't do well in the box office and I think it got a lot of bad reviews when it came out.

I hated Beerfest the first time I tried watching it and turned it off. Then I watched it when I was drunk and loved it, and have continued to love it. You've just got to go into it knowing it's cheesy as hell.

Voted #1 City in North America (#2 in the world) by Travel and Leisure for the third year in a row. #1 City to Visit by Conde Naste for four years running:

http://www.postandcourier.com/article/20150707/PC05/150709564/1177/travel-and-leisure-contest-says-charleston-best-city-in-us-and-canada

Lots of debate amongst residents if its a good or bad thing. More visitors and inhabitants means more traffic, more sprawl, larger buildings, etc. On the flip side, economy is booming, property values are going up (my house has almost doubled in five years), even more restaurants and shops are opening up in a place that was already renowned for shopping and dining.

My quality of life has only gotten better, but I assume it will get to a point where it becomes annoying. There are still plenty of places/secret spots to go to avoid tourists and newbs. As long as I have those, I think I'll be fine.

I actually enjoyed The Village. It's usually clumped in with Mnight's Post 6th sense garbage.
