Also, I guess I need to give that Jamie XX record some more time. I like it but didn't love it. I did love some individual songs though. 12/3/2015 11:32:53 AM |

Most of my favorites have already been mentioned. I think Sufjan had the best but it's hard to listen to especially after recently losing a parent. I didn't like Titus Andronicus' Local Business but I think The Most Lamentable Tragedy is pretty great.

I like the AOTY aggregate list:

Not that I necessarily agree with everything, but I always like the attempt at filtering the general consensus among the large list of included blogs and websites. 12/28/2015 1:55:57 PM |

^^Remember turntable.fm? Man that was a cool concept for a while. Anyway, I spent a couple of hours one morning virtually hanging out, chatting and trading favorite music with the guy who started the aoty.org website on turntable.fm.

As far as my top list, what comes to mind is: Courtney Barnett - Sometimes I Sit and Think, Sometimes I Just Sit Houndstooth - No News from Home Gun Outfit - Dream All Over (I just got this one a few weeks ago, but I'm loving it)
And Divers will probably be on there, but I just got it for Christmas and it's on vinyl (and Drag City still doesn't do free downloads of their vinyl!?!?!) so I haven't listened to more than a few songs yet. 12/29/2015 1:33:38 PM |

^ I've never listened to Blackfield so I don't know.
This is my favorite song on the album, specifically the last 5 minutes. Awesome solo by Guthrie Govan.
