I'm in if it's 100% COD4 remastered; meaning that it has nothing added to it whatsoever.

The more a publisher/developer/corporation says "innovation", the less "innovative" the product they are pushing is. With Call of Duty especially... I was somewhat late in the CoD era. I started playing MW just before MW2 came out. The fact that they are including a download for a remastered MW is kind of appealing to me, but I don't know that it is enough for me to waste my money on Infinite Warfare.

IMO MW had the best campaign, MW2 was the best CoD for multiplayer and MW3 was the last decent CoD. As much as I loved the franchise during the MW-MW3 era it lost almost all appeal to me when they stared going Sci-Fi warfare. From watching the trailer for Infinite Warfare I think this will be a mediocre at best game. If enough of the guys on here that I used to mount up with jump on board for the MW remaster then I will probably cave just so I can relive the days of TWW dominating in TDM or Domination. Until then I will be sitting patiently waiting for the MW2 remaster so TWW can mount up and dominate on Skidrow again.

I would classify MW3 as "black ops garbage" seeing as how infinity ward had died and the game resembled Black Ops rather than MW2, that and the start of skill-equalization clusterfuck chaos maps officially became standard with that game.

I would say COD4 and W@W had more "balanced" gameplay with 3/5/7 killstreaks but MW2 was addicting, even if it was a bit hectic and broken in some areas.

i was just playing the BO3 campaign, and wanted to throw my controller through my TV screen. Fighting bulletsponge robots was idiotic as hell.

Honestly, i'd have rather had a W@W type world war 2 type game. This whole futuristic warfare garbage feels so tired. I'm not excited about IW at all. The idea of a remastered CoD4 is cool for the campaign, but still i'm not thinking it's worth the cash.

OK they almost had me.

I "assumed" that COD4 would be included with a $60 shit-version of COD, but now that I know I have to pay $80, and there is no option just to buy a standalone COD4 I'll pass.

COD got bad for me when they changed the jumping, and introduction wall scaling. Otherwise I could tolerate they BS and still find fun (to a degree) in the game.

I wonder if they keep the same exact scoring system as the original COD4. One of the best upgrades after COD4 was going from 10/5 pts per kill/assist to 100/50. It is functionally no different but psychologically seems much more pleasing. That's what I remember from playing MW2 after COD4

just beat the IW campaign, and it was pretty damn solid. the story was somewhat decent, and the gameplay even moreso. the ship battles were very very fun. very starfox-y. the overall length wasn't longwinded like the previous few installments which i haven't bothered to finish.

^^I've been playing this on xbone with a handful of friends. It seems pretty well balanced and I'm actually really enjoying it. Play mostly HCTDM. Supply drops and obvious money-grabbing by Activision to get the best weapons is annoying and I refuse to give them any more money, but gameplay is still fun to me.
