I want to register 5 .com domain names. Tired of godaddy renewal fees. Leaning towards namescheap. Any other suggestions? Thanks! 9/22/2016 11:49:35 PM |

How many domains do you have? Godaddy has a domain club that trims about 40-50% off domains (depending on TLD.) https://www.godaddy.com/domains/discount-domains.aspx
$10/month
$14.99 .com goes down to $8.29, break even at 18 domains.
Domain club and Auctions are probably the best reason to remain at GoDaddy. Their interface is a hot mess, but all the options you want are there if you click around. I've also had much better luck with them whenever I need to update DNS or Nameservers. If you're on Google DNS I can usually propogate in minutes, not hours/days.
I absolutely would not trust 1&1. Namecheap seems fine. 9/23/2016 12:23:09 AM |

AWS does everything
[Edited on September 27, 2016 at 5:22 PM. Reason : look at EC2 or Elastic Beanstalk] 9/27/2016 5:20:50 PM |

if your website is static (it probably is) just throw it in s3 for $0.60/month 9/28/2016 12:58:09 PM |

http://www.namecheap.com or http://www.namesilo.com are the two I'd recommend for cheap/relatively hassle-free domain registration. 9/29/2016 8:44:00 AM |

Haven't had any issues with Namecheap and it was the cheapest option I found that seemed reputable. 11/4/2016 5:36:56 PM |
