I've been rewatching this series from early 2000s, and it's better than I remember. Better than Voyager even.

The theme song was an absolutely horrible choice, and almost makes me think it is responsible for the show not doing better.

One of my big issues with the show is the issue I have with many prequels. The writers seemed compelled to make it so that everything we see in TOS and TNG was invented on the NX-Enterprise. The universe is a big place. Not everything has to come from Enterprise. There are other ships and planets full of scientists and engineers. Let them get some credit.
