I advocated for jibbles getting suspended but I don't think Earl should have been. I like having a different opinion. He wasn't disrespectful and even if he was playing devil's advocate, his arguments were at least coherent

I'm puzzled that anyone can really question this. Even the OP admits he trolled in other forums. Personally, I find having an irrational hatred of your bball program, and letting everyone know it any chance you get, gets old.
