Saw it last night. Hilarious but not as good as the first one in my opinion. Still great though. Very pleased with all the random nods to other Marvel and DC movies. With Disney owning Fox now, I hope that we see Deadpool in an Avengers movie sometime. Would be funny to see his take on Josh Brolin playing both Cable and Thanos, as well as the X-Men Quicksilver vs. Age of Ultron Quicksilver.

There were some pretty funny cameos but I won't say what yet. Although maybe it was me but I didn't see a Stan Lee cameo?

Better story. Better villain. More character development so I actually cared if anyone other than Deadpool died. It was a great comedy but for me the best superhero/comic book movies rely on a strong and compelling villain/antagonist.

Thought it was perfect. Just as good as the first one. I do feel like his face and arms look they've improved in the looks department though. Did he heal any in the comics, as far as his ugliness? He wasn't quite as ugly this time around.

I think he looked more or less the same. Maybe slightly less craggy?

As far as I know, he never heals appearance-wise in the comics for any real length of time.

The only thing that really bothered me, that can be easily overlooked, is the continuity within the X-Men movies. Juggernaut was a completely different mutant before this movie. He wasn't gargantuan.

^^The X-men movies are absolutely FILLED with plot holes. Trask went from being a bald middle aged black man in X-Men 3 to being played by Peter Dinklage in Days of Future Past. Speaking of Days of Future Past, since it retconned some of the stuff, you could say that any of the plot holes between the original X-men movies and current ones could be explained by that. At the end of the day, the Juggernaut portrayed in this movie was so much better than the one from X-Men 3, and so much more true to the comics that it didn't bother me at all.

More than Juggernaut or Colossus, the cameo of Professor X and the team really screws with the timeline. If we're to believe Deadpool 2 is modern times, how has that iteration of the X-men not aged in 30 years?

Edit: I guess the beginning of the movie references "Logan," which supposedly takes place in 2029. So time isn't really relevant.

^^I took Logan and team McAvoy as just cameos, not part of any cannon. Neither appearance really interacted with Deadpool much, with maybe the exception of closing a door. Juggernaut however, played a pretty big part.
