Due to just how good the defense should be this year, this is easily a 10 win team and my guess is they make it 11 (they finished with 11 wins last year, and this should be a better team).

I think the winner of Week 1 Giants/Cowboys will win the NFC East and the other will be the top wildcard (but that could depend on Ezekiel Elliot's status).

Excited to see what OBJ can do with Brandon Marshall on the field with him. Not too hopeful about the Giants establishing a run game, so the O-Line is going to need to be consistently spot on and give Eli as much time as they can to make things happen. But that's nothing new.

Cowboys got to play Elliot while the Giants were without OBJ. Pretty easy to guard the other receivers when the biggest threat in the league is sitting on the bench. Combine that with the worst O-Line performance ever and it was a cakewalk for the Cowboys to win this one.

However, it is worth mentioning that the Cowboys only managed one touchdown despite how often they made it into Giants' territory. That had a lot to do with the Giants' D-Line. They are very good, but without the secondary to back them up it's not going to be an enjoyable season. Eli Apple was getting knocked down all over the field...I love his speed but he has got to stay on his feet.

At this point I'm down to hoping that this season results in McAdoo being fired, Eli retiring, and the Giants rebuilding the offense around Beckham. Or just burn it all down and start over.

Maybe it's not quite that dire yet but when you combine a crap O-line with an assortment of mediocre running backs and a QB whose best years are behind him (though he did look good in the 4th today), good things are not likely to happen.

I didn't get to watch the game today but I did get an update every time a wide receiver left with an injury. A shit O-Line that provides no protection already, and then having no one left to throw it to.

Probably time to blow the whole thing up and start from scratch except keep the D-Line.

That and McAdoo relinquishing playcalling, which should have been last year as garbage as the offense has been. Maybe things turn around. The back half of their schedule aren't world beaters by any stretch.
