Does anyone do this or think it might take off in the future? I've never seen it happen in a real game but see it a lot on facebook now and after that Florida/Wisconsin game (nuts), I think we might see players start to practice it.

With more athletic players and analytics. There's no reason not to try something like this on every breakaway. The difference is that, if you practice it, can jump far, and get a running start, you could actually make it into more of a layup than just a runner and that would be safe because you can get your own rebound. Better than pulling up shooting a 3 because you don't risk there being a long rebound so if no one is with you, why not?
eddie jones fingerroll- this is not a 3 but basically what I'm talking about. its obviously more practical from the college 3 pt line https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yJWlz5ipTY

I get what you are saying with this. But I think, analytically speaking, we need to take this one step farther. When on the break away they should start to let up right before they begin their 3 point lay up and try to draw the foul during the air time. This way you get a 4 point play. 10/22/2017 11:08:32 AM |
